Ho Wah Reopens after Renovations in La Place; Nervous Dog Coffee Bar to Open by the Holidays Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant, located on the lower level of La Place, has reopened after renovations. Ho Wah has been a staple in the Beachwood community since 1979, serving traditional Chinese cuisine. Their renovation is part of a larger redevelopment project at La Place. “We were pleased with the opportunity to close in order to make renovations to our space. We believe these upgrades will provide a more enjoyable dining experience for our customers,” said Randy Hom, partner at Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant. “Please pardon our dust,” asks Neisha Vitello, senior general manager of Beachwood Place. “We are very excited to bring new retailers to the community, but we don’t want to forget that the current LaPlace tenants – Cedar Creek Grille, Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn Kids – are still open and fully operating for business.” We are thrilled to announce that Nervous Dog Coffee Bar, a local Cleveland-area coffee shop, is projected to arrive by the holidays.
