SENIOR POLICE ACADEMY
Congratulations to the Beachwood Police Department 2016 Senior Police Academy graduation class. This free eight-week program under the direction of Lt. Tom Wetzel provided a first-hand opportunity for seniors to learn about law enforcement. Participants studied reallife crime prevention techniques pertaining to the cares and needs of today’s senior citizens. Topics included self-defense, CPR, personal safety and how to help family, friends, neighbors and yourself.
