Spencer Bystrom, Beachwood High School sophomore, qualified to the national level and competed in Moultrie Georgia at the USA Diving AT&T National Diving Championships. He placed 12th overall on the Platform (10 meter, 7 meter and 5 meter combination), competing alongside some Olympic trial contenders. He placed 23rd in 3 meter springboard, and 25th in 1 meter overall. Amanda Leizman, Beachwood High School freshman and the newest addition to the Beachwood High School Diving Team, qualified and placed at the 2016 USA Diving Zone C Championships which was held in Ann Arbor Michigan, placing 19th overall on the 5-7-10 meter platform competition and had her personal best score. The Beachwood Bison Swim/Dive Team, under the coaching of Brad Burget, is working toward another state-bound season.
